May 8, 2014 - Eventbase was in Miami this week for the inaugural eMerge Americas / TechWeek conference. The event was a huge success with over 5,000 attendees descending on this beach city to see what's hot in the tech scene across Latin America. With a trade show showcasing startups and top tier tech companies, eMerge also featured a wide range of conference sessions and networking events at stunning locations throughout Miami. There were lavish parties with great music, fantastic food and delicious cocktails. We also loved the Food Truck Face-Off that took place opposite the Miami Convention Center.
Event organizers loved their Eventbase Premium app, which helped attendees stay on top of all the action. The app let users sign in with LinkedIn to pull in their personal profile and network with other attendees by sending messages in the app.
Post conference, Jenna, our Account Executive and I drove over to the Wynwood Walls, an emerging art district featuring an array of exceptional murals painted by world class artists that originated during Art Basel.
We're already looking forward to next year.
