Jeff sinclair

CEO & Co-Founder

Co-Founder of Eventbase, Jeff drives corporate strategy, leading the company’s growth to become the most trusted mobile event technology platform on the market. Previously, Jeff was CEO of The Level, a global content management system relied on by Google, and Director of Product at the digital financial network, StockHouse.com. Jeff co-founded the Vancouver Canary Derby, a tech-focused charity event that raised over $300k to help fight cancer. He is a previous winner of the Business in Vancouver “Top 40 Under 40” award.

CPO & Co-Founder

Ben is Co-Founder of Eventbase, leading the product team and overseeing design, product management and technology strategy for our world-class event app platform. Formerly, Ben was CIO at StockHouse.com, growing the company from 2 to 250 people worldwide, with over 100m monthly page views. He also founded digital agency Intergalactic and co-founded digital rights protection software company used by leading record labels. Ben is a previous winner of the “Top 40 Under 40” award by Business in Vancouver.

ANGELA STOGRE

VP Finance

Working with hyper-growth startups and investment companies since 2004, Angela oversees all accounting and financial operations for Eventbase. Formerly, Angela was a founding member and Director at Clio, a legal software firm, where she helped secure venture capital funding and built the finance and data operations teams and infrastructure from the ground up. Angela is a data-driven finance leader who embraces technology to solve problems, and empowers businesses with informed insights.

RICHARD CAELIUS

Managing Director, EMEA

In 2011, Richard established Eventbase’s operations in London, UK, where he led the build of the official mobile app for the London 2012 Olympics. As Managing Director, EMEA, he is responsible for growing the company’s presence in Europe, leveraging our world-class mobile event technology for some of the biggest events and brands in the world. Before joining Eventbase, Richard co-founded the IT consulting firm Senacor as a member of the board and CIO, and was VP of Finance at a web-portal company.

ZAID MAITER

VP Global Sales

Zaid leads the Eventbase sales teams in North America and Europe, including Account Executives, Account Managers and Business Development Representatives. Under his guidance, the sales team manages the front lines, talking to prospective accounts and driving technology solutions for clients. His efforts have resulted in record bookings months, including many new Fortune 1,000 customers. Zaid joined us from Salesforce, where he was Regional Vice President of Western Canada.

VINCENT CAUWET

VP Delivery Operations

Vince oversees the Delivery Team at Eventbase, and the creation of Enterprise Event Apps for many of the largest brands and events in the world. Prior to joining Eventbase, Vince produced digital projects for brands including MTV, Mattel, Budweiser, Electronic Arts and Telus. Vince was previously Director of Production at Invoke Media and Head of Product at Invoke Labs, and has worked with dozens of startups and as a founding team member of a startup accelerator.

MIKE LEE

Sr Director, Software Development

Mike is responsible for overseeing Eventbase’s skilled Foundation Team, including a team of developers building and maintaining the core Eventbase Platform and products. In his past role of Director of Software Development at Thinkingbox, a marketing and production agency, Mike was responsible for leading digital transformation and building a team of 14 developers from scratch. Previously Mike designed and developed an iOS travel application that was featured on iTunes and reached #1 in the Travel section.

RYAN LYSTER

Director, Small & Mid-sized Events

Ryan is responsible for the success of our new Essential, Standard and Advanced Events products. He also leads the Eventbase Customer Success team, and brings with him over a decade of experience in providing customer support solutions for computer software programs and products. Before joining Eventbase, Ryan was the Director of Customer Success at the ACTIVE Network, a global marketplace for activities and events, and was responsible for driving service adoption with a 400% annual growth rate.

SARAH BLACKMORE

Senior Director, People

Sarah is responsible for driving talent acquisition strategies and equipping the Eventbase team with the essential tools required to be productive and happy within their roles. Working in People, Talent and Human Resources since 2003, Sarah has helped scale some of Vancouver’s most interesting companies including Bench Accounting, where she grew their workforce to over 300 people in under 3 years. She was previously Manager, Talent Acquisition at Deloitte Canada.

DANIEL SIMPER

Technical Director

Daniel has been managing operations, projects and people since 2002. He has guided the implementation of agile processes with a high level of success to continually improve processes and deliver high quality software. Before joining Eventbase on the west coast, Daniel was Head of Development at Rufus Leonard, a brand experience agency, and Head of Development at Adgistics, a digital asset management software service in London, UK.
