As Co-Founder at Eventbase, Jeff drives the company’s corporate strategy and business development and has led its growth as the most trusted event app platform on the market. Jeff was previously CEO of The Level, which developed a global content management system relied on by Google for all its websites. Prior to that he was Director of Products at financial website network StockHouse.com. Jeff is also co-founder of the Vancouver Canary Derby, a charity event for tech companies raising over $300,000 to help fight cancer. He is a previous winner of the “Top 40 Under 40” award by Business in Vancouver. Jeff holds a BA from the University of Queensland.
Ben West is a Co-Founder of Eventbase, overseeing technology and operations for the creator of world-class event apps. Ben leads the product team and drives the strategy around Eventbase's event app platform. Formerly, Ben was CIO at StockHouse.com, helping grow that company from 2 to 250 people worldwide with over 100 million monthly page views. He also co-founded a digital rights protection software company used by leading record labels. Ben is a previous winner of the “Top 40 Under 40” award by Business in Vancouver. He holds a BA from Queen’s University with Honors in Media Studies.
Alex oversees Eventbase’s Technology Team. He is the original architect of our iOS products and was the Technical Solutions Architect for the London 2012 Olympics, the Vancouver 2010 Olympics and SXSW. A Belgian native, Alex began coding shareware applications for the Mac OS X platform in 2001 before putting his Masters/Computer Science Degree to work on fingerprint recognition algorithms and biometrics technology at Zetes. He began creating his own iPhone applications in 2008, launching a series of apps for creating travel guides.
Richard co-founded IT consulting firm Senacor as a member of the board and CIO, followed by 3 years in Vancouver as the VP of Finance at a web-portal company. In 2011 he established Eventbase's operations in London and has since been helping event and conference organizers in the UK and Europe leverage its world leading mobile technology. Richard holds an B.Sc Hons and an MBA from the Instituto de Empresa, Madrid.
Jamie joined in 2014 as part of the Eventbase acquisition of LetsLynk where he served as CEO. Former to this Jamie has 4 start ups to his name the last one, LeadReporter.com was successfully sold to a VC group where the legacy is now owned and traded under GES, one of the worlds leading event business’s. Jamie brings passion and enthusiasm in all he does and is responsible for leading regional growth with his extensive sales and marketing experience. With a firm grasp on the European market and extensive event tech knowledge, Jamie is recognised as an industry thought leader who is never far away from the varied commercial opportunities within the market.
Guy joined Eventbase Technology Inc. in 2012 and oversees all accounting and financial responsibilities. He brings a wealth of financial management skills having over 20 years of experience working for small to medium size companies in both the financial services and technology sectors. Guy previously worked as the Controller for Qtrade Financial Group and also as an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the United States. Guy earned is Chartered Accountant designation in 2001 and also holds a USCPA in Washington State.
