SAP Sapphire Now App
SAP RELIES ON EVENTBASE TO CREATE A TRANSFORMATIVE ATTENDEE EXPERIENCE AT SAPPHIRE NOW
The official SAP app by Eventbase was designed with key goals in mind. It integrated the latest technologies into the fabric of the event creating an immersive experience that resonated with attendees. With thousands of guests attending Sapphire Now and other SAP events, networking was of utmost importance, and the Eventbase app played a pivotal role in facilitating connections like never before. Maximizing the reach of exhibitors' attendees to enhance sponsorship value was equally crucial, a goal effectively enabled by our app. The app also captured intelligent insights regarding attendee preferences in order to optimize future SAP events.
For enterprise software giant SAP, their signature event, SAPPHIRE NOW and ASUG Annual Conference, is an important channel for reaching customers with content on cutting-edge technology, solution best practices and business networking. With tens of thousands of executives, industry experts, partners, and customers in attendance, SAP turned to event technology to push the envelope and create a transformative attendee experience.
Indoor location and wayfinding was enabled by a network of beacons deployed throughout the show floor and session rooms in the million square foot the convention center. The built-in 3D Deep Maps and wayfinding within the SAP event allowed SAP’s 20,000 attendees to navigate between exhibitor booths on the vast showcase floor.
With the attendee experience in mind, Eventbase ensured that the SAP event app delivered the real-time information for SAPPHIRE NOW organizers to optimize future events. Integration between beacons and the app were used throughout official venues to show real-time heat maps, dwell time and other information to provide insights into attendee behaviour. This was the largest use of the real-time positioning technology at a North American event and illustrated an unprecedented level of crowd control data in addition to user preferences.
