Powered by the Eventbase Platform, the Salesforce Events App is the most advanced mobile app for conferences ever produced. It offers an unmatched mobile app experience at events throughout the year, including Dreamforce, Connections (CNX), Salesforce World Tours, Agentforce World Tours, and TDX. 


Salesforce and Eventbase recently extended the app experience for attendees by introducing three new AI-powered features that provide unmatched personalization and convenience: Mixhalo Translate, Enhanced Pointr Maps and Ask Agentforce.

PROBLEM #1: Renting headphones to provide a “silent disco” experience for attendees at sessions was expensive for Salesforce. Also, some attendees want to listen to session audio in their preferred language.


THE SOLUTION: Mixhalo Translate lowered costs while offering an enhanced session audio experience with industry-leading translation. Mixhalo Translate is a ground-breaking audio experience for event attendees. Originally developed and deployed at live events including the Superbowl, NASCAR and large concerts, Mixhalo offers attendees the ability to use their own headphones to listen to immersive session audio. With Salesforce as a launch partner, Mixhalo Translate took session audio to the next level by offering AI-powered translation and transcripts. Mixhalo offers translations in over 50 languages. This service also supports accessibility for attendees who are visually or hearing impaired. Eventbase integrated Mixhalo Translate natively into its event app platform, offering low latency and the best possible user experience. Attendees did not have to download a separate Mixhalo app, as they could simply select the live audio stream from Mixhalo directly from the Event Schedule in the Salesforce Events App. Attendees were also able to continue using the event app while listening to audio, which could be paused and restarted using the player controls.



PROBLEM #2: Salesforce has an inspired vision for reimaging the attendee experience at events, and many of those advancements are predicated on knowing the precise location of the attendee. Unfortunately, previous attempts at providing indoor location and wayfinding at Salesforce events have been disappointing.


THE SOLUTION: Enhanced Pointr Maps’ precision indoor location worked very well with extended capabilities including hyperlocal personalization. Pointr Maps, the world’s most advanced mapping solution for events, is another AI-powered innovation. Eventbase natively integrated Pointr Maps into the Salesforce Events App, making it easy for attendees to navigate the venue with the help of precision indoor location and bluedot wayfinding. Salesforce also worked with Eventbase to extend the Pointr product to display on the map both hyperlocal personalized recommendations and the location of the attendee’s sessions on a selected day. This was a game-changer for attendees, and for Salesforce’s events team too. It transformed the map into a discovery tool helping attendees decide what to do next based on what was nearby. In addition, Pointr’s MapScale product used AI to dramatically reduce the time it takes to import and update map files, and automatically calculated optimal navigation routes.



PROBLEM #3: Attendees have a lot of questions, and need help planning the optimal event journey.


THE SOLUTION: Ask Agentforce, created by Salesforce. As a leader in Agentic AI, the Salesforce events team wanted to demonstrate its new product by creating an Agentic AI Assistant for their events. “Ask Agentforce” is an intelligent AI Assistant embedded inside the Salesforce Events App. Attendees could ask questions like, “When is P!nk performing?”, “How do I access the Wi-Fi?”, “How can I meet others in my industry?”, and “Tell me about the Lodge Village,” and get answers tailored to their industry and interests. “Ask Agentforce” also provided personalized recommendations to attendees. To ensure a seamless experience, Eventbase worked with Salesforce to synchronize sessions that an attendee favorited in the AI Assistant interface.
