Senior Android Mobile Developer


This position includes hands-on development. Take part in architecture conversations and represent the Android team in a key part of our business. Our product is the industry leading mobile platform for the world’s highest profile events. As an Android expert, you would research, and advise our product roadmap as part of your day to day activities. This ambitious team is not just looking to deliver the best event apps – but to push the limits of what Android is capable of. This is a full-time role based in our Vancouver head office.

  • Hands-on-development for a sophisticated, highly customizable Android software platform
  • Collaborate with the Android and mobile development team
  • Contribute to our Agile environment with daily standups, retrospectives, and planning
  • Work in an exceptionally collaborative environment utilising a number of best practices including architectural reviews, pull requests, automated builds, and with dedicated Architects, UX/IA, and QA experts
  • Help architect superior software by championing unit tests and automated testing


  • Experienced Android developer with examples of innovative Android apps in the Play store you have participated in creating
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL
  • Knowledge of asynchronous network calls, threads, web services etc.
  • Understanding of design patterns, algorithms and an eye for elegant engineering
  • Team player with a collaborative attitude – willing to learn, share and teach
