September 23, 2014 - Last week, Eventbase was in San Francisco for Qualcomm’s Uplinq Mobile Developer Conference as provider of the official conference app. As the leader in wireless technologies, Qualcomm’s signature event aimed at developers is best described as the convergence of mobile, computing and wireless with distinct content tracks offered for coding, digital lifestyle, software-hardware integration, trends, and business insights.
With the impressive roster of speakers and top mobile professionals from across the globe present for the event, our team was able to partake in some valuable sessions while getting real-time input on how attendees were using the event app. Gimbal, a company that was recently spun out of Qualcomm, delivers bluetooth beacon technology and location-based services so naturally, these innovative devices were used as part of the event app to round out the attendee experience.
