In the age of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), the educational landscape is rapidly changing. With new ways of reaching learners in even the most distant parts of the globe, many institutions have welcomed this trend. While large-scale, collaborative efforts for providing MOOCs will often draw from big budgets, state-of-the-art technology, and staff knowing how to build interactive platforms for online content delivery from scratch, how do smaller institutions fit in? Interactivity will be the decisive component that sets these platforms apart from other content delivery tools. The presenters will evaluate each platform by the platform's price, learning curve, and overall design, allowing for an overview of which platform will best suit the needs of institutions operating under a tight budget and with limited staff.
